Able Moving Ltd.

I used able moving and storage over 5 years ago and many of my boxes and personal belongings never came off their truck. They are dishonest. I am not surprised to see jim the owner deny Brian’s review of his belongings going missing while in storage with them. Do not use this company.

Just wanted to give recommendation to the team from Able Movers for really stepping up their service on our recent move. They helped us through get through a tough situation, with great attitudes and good hearts. They were friendly, hard working and never complained. They turned a potentially miserable day into an enjoyable experience… and I hate moving. ;-)

Do not use this company whatever you do. Scott will come round and promise you the world and more. When it comes to moving day he is know where to be seen and the moving guys said he promises too much all the time. To cut a long story short we were only moving 5 mins round the corner and they said if it doesn't all fit into one truck we can go back and collect the rest later. Dan the mover said there is no way we are going back. After back and forth with Jason he managed to get some guys to come and collect the other stuff left at the house. They clearly didn't want to be there and ended up just throwing are furniture in the van which broke on the journey round. Please don't waste your money there are plenty of other good companies out there.

These guys are fantastic! Mice got into my storage locker and they were really "ABLE"!! They were pro's and helped with everything. Jason went out of his way to make sure my family was happy and safe. His team was positive and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend these guys and Able movers to my family and friends.

My move with Able Moving was flawless. The estimate I received was exact and comprehensive. The quote we received was not the highest or lowest of all the movers, but rather in the middle. The movers showed up on time and completed the move within the quoted time frame. They did everything we asked of them, relieving our stress. The movers were courteous, professional and very careful! Their use of floor runners and blankets saved us from damages and kept both locations clean. I would have no problem referring Able Moving to family and friends! Thank you.

Just moved with Able Moving on Jan. 29. They did such a great job that I felt I had to report it. Danny and his crew were very kind and worked very hard. They took only a few 5-minute breaks over the 9 hour move. Needless to say I was quite impressed with that fact. They showed care when they gently wrapped up all of our furniture in moving blankets and also showed care when moving our possessions. The move was flawless in terms of no scratches to furniture or walls. The movers put everything exactly where we asked them to put stuff. The in house estimate provided to us was accurate. The salesman insisted that they are transparent about the charges for moving. Indeed, they were transparent. There were no hidden fees or last minute charges that we were not expecting. 9/10 would recommend to my own family and friends.

Friendly up front, but on moving day their tone suddenly changes. Receptionist does all the baiting and niceties, but don't expect to get your furniture inside your house without signing a second contract with a revised price due to "extended travel time". Whatever you're quoted, expect $200 more. Called the manager and was basically yelled at and told this is what I agreed to. Movers just dropped boxes on my new floor. There was no mention of having to sign another document at my front door giving them permission to come inside when i agreed to the contract in April. Basically youre left with no choice but to sign. What a joke! A nieghbour refered me and they didn't get treated like I did.

rings missing when movers left. Called owner he told me to call the police, receptionist told me to send e mail of what happened and said it would be taken care of by their insurance. i sent email owner denies everything. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME>
