This project has been much pleasant than I expected. Since the moment Bill came by and make the assessment and estimate I knew he was trustworthy. He did not try to sell a full replacement even though I asked for his expert opinion and the easiest thing would have been to offer a complete change. He properly assessed the flaws of the previous setup and explained in detail what they would do, and included it in the estimate. I could not be at home the day they did the job and though I tried to return early they were done by 4 PM and there was no trace of their presence, other than a new roof and a swept driveway. The interaction with Bill has been very professional throughout and the final cost was exactly the amount agreed in the estimate.
