We had major water issues in our new home. The basement was flooding regularly and we learned that we were built above a small brook. We waterproofed the interior and exterior and added a sump pump. Darby and the crew were the best. They were professional, quick, clean and we never had an issue again (its been 10 years). I have since trusted them with clients and even my own parents house. I highly recommend them to anyone who is having water issues, foundation issues or wants to underpin their home.

Darby and his crew spent the past 8 days completing an interior waterproofing of our basement, and I can't recommend this company enough. Darby kept me fully updated on progress, and answered all of my (sometimes silly) questions every step of the way. His crew was fantastic; on time and hard working, and they cleaned up after themselves, which is no small feat when working with gravel and concrete dust. Our job had some "tricky spots", yet no corners were cut, and they stayed true to their word that they would find a way to get the job done properly. Ten out of ten stars.

We are really happy with the work done by Darby and his crew (Mitch, Andy, Nick and the young ones) in our basement. They were able to solve all the unpredicted issues that came up. The work was done within the timeline they gave to us, and they worked hard every day. They were always very friendly. We highly recommend them!

The Mud Monkeys are the best. Staffed with a wonderful crew and filled with can do culture, there is nothing they cannot do. There isn't a better underpinning company.

I needed everything done to my basement: underpinning, an extension, and waterproofing. My extension had to be hand dug because I only had front access and other underpinners refused to look at the work. Mud Monkeys came along and said - "it is all dirt" - "digging is digging" - and agreed to the work. The key things that made them so great: adorable, ahead of schedule, worked every day even outside in -18 temperatures, and most importantly they were great at communicating with about the work and helped to to ensure the job got done right.

Seriously - you cannot find a better underpinner than Mud Monkeys and if you have to wait - do! You will not regret it!

We had a small but tricky job with a leak behind our furnace and hot water tank. I had lined up an HVAC company to move the tank so the work could proceed, but the day of, Nick and his crew managed to squeeze behind the tank to get it done. Saved me time, money and the headache of not having hot water. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and knowledgable. Happy to have a dry basement again.

I saw mold in my basement and freaked out. Neighbors told me to call the Mud Monkeys and I was so glad I did. Nick visited and gave us reassurance and a quote we agreed on. He told us they were booked out for a bit so they couldn't get to us for a while (a sign of a good business IMHO.) Two weeks before our expected start they emailed and said they could start a week early if we wanted. They worked hard and professionally throughout the week and even went above and beyond in a couple occasions. I can't recommend them enough for your needs.

We needed to waterproof the north basement wall of our old Toronto home. They came in promptly to assess and provide a quote, gave us several options, and answered all our questions.

They were able to come in 2 weeks later, and it only took a couple of days for them to finish everything. They are clearly experienced professionals, and knew exactly what they were doing, They answered all of my questions as they went along, and we are very happy with the work done.
They worked hand-in-hand with our plumber to get everything done as fast and efficiently as possible. Best of all the price was excellent.

They also walked us through everything we needed to get all of the City of Toronto rebates and programs we were entitled to with this work, which also saved us some money.

I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, they are a great company to work with.
