Get moving and were quoted about 1500 dollars and that it would take about 5-6 hours half a day of work. My fiance specifically disclosed everything we had so that we could avoid any additional fees. We have a home gym and are aware that can be quite heavy and a lot to move. We disclosed the
Gym equipment and even paid an additional cost because we had gym equipment. As for the rest of our stuff it was not a lot and majority of our stuff was backed by us in bins all in one area.
This movers showed up two hours later then we were told and it took them from 9-5 to pack up our stuff. On its own this is insane I have never experienced movers taking so long to put things pre packed in a truck. Then they get to the house at 6 it is a ten minute drive from our old house.
While moving items into our house my fiance witnessed one of them carrying a single ten pound weight and thats it. We could have done that ourselves. Multiple times I saw the movers sitting around doing nothing then when they noticed me watching get up and try to look busy.
In the end the movers left at 9. It took them 12 hours to move the amount of stuff that should have taken 6 hours max. Then we go to pay the bill and it is for 3000 dollars!!!! Literally double what we were quoted. Had we known this we would have obviously looked elsewhere. I am so disgusted with this company that we purposely explained everything we were moving paid extra for it and were ripped off and taken advantage of. Never would I use this company again and I HIGHLY suggest you dont either
