Restoration of Flagstone Walkway
I had Damian over to my home to quote on restoring 2 flagstone walkways - one at the front of the house, and one at the side. After 10 years, the original polymeric sand was badly deteriorated. The approximate length of both walkways were probably 100 or more. This was not a job for the faint of heart. The natural flagstone walkways, when completed, resemble a jigsaw puzzle. Great care, patience, technique and expertise are required to disassemble the walkway, repair the base layer, and reassemble them. Damian and his team beautifully restored the walkways in only 2 days. They left the worksite in very good condition such that there was nothing left to be done by the homeowner. I have no hesitation in recommending Islandscaping for any landscaping job around the home. I have attached before and after photos for your reference. (Note that I asked that the flagstones NOT be pressure-washed as I prefer the weathered look of the stone, as opposed to the factory fresh look.)
