The PolyB piping in my townhouse complex (all 48 units) had to be replaced so it was a MAJOR job.
Fortunately, I had a plumber in mind. I had dealt with Brad the previous year when he replaced my hot water tank and done some other plumbing work for me. For the PolyB job, Dea Mechanical was the company that did the work and the plumbers were Brad, Theron and Rob.
After talking with other owners in the strata, I found that Dea Mechanicals quotes were on par with quotes from other companies. For me, the most relevant and important point was that I trusted Brad - his workmanship and his integrity. Brad was the lead on this job, the go-to guy.
First, Brad walked through my townhouse and provided me with a quote. Then, I decided to upgrade the faucets in the 2 full bathrooms, powder room and kitchen so he provided with another quote. Then, as per my request, he came back two more times to show me and my daughter exactly what areas needed to be cleared before they started the job.
Brad, Rob and Theron worked hard and the plumbing part of the job was completed in two days. They started on a Wednesday morning and were finished Thursday afternoon. Dea Mechanical had arranged for the City of Abbotsford inspector to do his inspection on the Friday morning. Then, the lead drywaller came in on the Monday followed by the drywall finisher on Tuesday morning. The drywall portion and therefore the entire job was completed by the Friday. All the workers on this job were friendly, professional and competent.
This PolyB job, a special levy job, was very stressful for me before I even had to find professionals to handle it. Dea Mechanical did an outstanding job owing to good communication, a clear outline of job steps required and a great team of professionals. Thank you so much!!
