I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Axtanto Roofing, owned by Leonardo. I hired him to install a fiberglass roof on top of our garage, and from the moment the job was completed, it has been nothing but a nightmare.
Shortly after the installation, we noticed the paint on the roof was chipping. When we contacted Leonardo about this issue, he blamed it on a defect in the paint he used and promised to come back and fix it. However, his idea of fixing the problem was nothing short of disappointing. He returned to repaint everything except the edges, promising that someone from his team would come back to complete the job. But surprise, surpriseno one ever showed up.
Despite our repeated attempts to contact Leonardo, he was unresponsive. When he finally did reply, he gave excuses about being out of the country until April and assured us that he would address the issue upon his return. However, when April rolled around, he conveniently changed his tune and claimed he had no intention of coming back to finish the job.
To add insult to injury, when I questioned him about why his team hadn't called ahead or simply fixed the problem when they were at our property, he became defensive and evasive. It's clear that his behavior is not only unprofessional but also deceitful.
In addition to his lack of integrity, Leonardo has now resorted to avoiding all forms of communication, deleting his social media accounts, and leaving us with an unfinished and shoddy job. The edges of our roof remain unpainted, creating a stark contrast with the rest of the roof.
My advice to anyone considering hiring Axtanto Roofing: Don't. Leonardo is unreliable, unethical, and unwilling to stand by his work. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reputable and trustworthy contractor.
