I have not been able to get a hold of Emerald for over a week, despite wanting to hire them to do a little touch-up work on their flooring job. As a result, I can no longer recommend them. Their phone lines are "disconnected", they don't reply to WhatsApp or Messenger messages, and don't reply to HomeStars messages.
My original review is below, but please take it with a very large grain of salt and consider hiring someone else:

I own two properties and have worked with many contractors over the last 30 years. Some good, some not so good! Emerald is excellent.
I had a 14'x17' kitchen floor that was very old linoleum and needed replacing. I chose Emerald Flooring because of their good reviews, quick responses, knowledge and flexibility. Ultimately, they covered the old linoleum with luxury vinyl plank, as a way to add a little R factor to a cold kitchen floor.
Emerald took the job on Friday and did it all in one day the following Monday! They arrived right on time, too.
Their communication was wonderful, they were very friendly, and happy to adjust the job details as new information came to light.
I am very happy with my new floor, and plan to work with Emerald on any future flooring projects. Hire them with confidence!
