One of the most responsive companies I contacted. Estimate was booked quickly and the details were explained thoroughly. Once we choose this company, booking the job was very fast. The work was done in the amount of time promised. They went above and beyond on the cleanup (our stairs are cleaner than when they arrived). I would recommend them for anyone needing to top up their insulation.

This is the best sub trade I have ever hired!
They arrived to do the quotation exactly as planned. A two person crew arrived exactly as planned. The set up was difficult because there are two attics and entry to one is over a staircase, which makes it about 20 feet above the stairs.
They were super careful with protecting corners, flooring, etc. ACEM did the work quickly yet carefully. They first installed stops between roof joists to ensure the air flow integrity of the soffits and then blew in the insulation. Cleanup was meticulous with vacuuming up any debris (I could not see any but this is their procedure). They were courteous throughout and took photos, a few of which I have included. I now have 20 inches of insulation in my attic, instead of 6 inches. Because they added 14 inches of spray foam to the existing insulation, the interface between existing and new insulation adds an extra resistance to heat/cold flow, ensuring lower bills both summer and winter. 30+ to -40 Celsius are both usual for St. Albert, Alberta for summer and winter respectively. This will save money, reducing our carbon footprint, increasing the value of our home and increasing our comfort. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thoroughly professional, came right on time, worked for 6 hr. straight with no breaks. They put up poly before blowing in the insulation and did an amazing cleanup after. Would definitely recomend them.

Highly recommend ACEM. ARnold came to estimate took a bunch of pictures & talked me through them. We did renos that involved removing some of the insulation and while he could have said he would need to replace it all, instead he said they would move what was there around to fill the spots & then fill the rest with new material. They came to site, put mats down and also taped cardboard on the one corner so their hose wouldn't rub it. I worked from home that day and barely heard them- had virtual meetings & no one on the other end knew anything was going on. They cleaned up after themselves & showed me pictures of their work. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will use them when we build our new place
