Garvin Alexis was a subcontractor to the company I hired for basement renovation. They did demolition, vapour barrier, plumbing, hvac, framing, flooring, drywalling, mudding. Great quality, the work passed inspection on the 1st try. They also did some welding. Kitchen, bathroom and electrical was done by main contractor, but that wouldn't be possible without solid work done before. Garvin Alexis managed their time well, there were no undue delays between different trades.

Contacted Greg through Homestars and responded quickly. Set up a time the following week and they came roughly within the window they said they would.

Installed 2 bathroom fans fairly quickly without any damage and at a decent price.

Greg was very thorough and updated us throughout the whole process. He even suggested improvements for the bathroom included in the price we paid, which was great. And the bathroom is looking way better now. They work 7 days a week and it was done in the time we arranged (a week). For small finishings after the job was done, he was also available really fast. Definitely recommend!

Greg and a plumber came very quickly and fixed the toilet leak. This leak keeps happening around the seal so he gave me a year guarantee. So that made me comfortable that they will return and fix it if it happens again.

Amazing service. I had been struggling to get the closet doors replaced for over a month. Alexis took on the work and did it all on a Saturday. Bought the supplies and even painted the doors. Impressed and pleased.

When my wife and I decided to embark on the process of renovating our condo bathroom, the task at first seemed a little overwhelming. We are not in the construction industry so we don't have a list of contractors at the ready. We decided to ask around, as another couple we know had the entire first floor renovated. Based on a referral I gave Greg from Garvin Alexis Homes a call and we basically never looked back. We initially met at our condo to show Greg the space. My wife had all her designs and a wish list ready, as well as all of our questions. From the start Greg was fully transparent and worked with us to achieve our end result. I'd like to add that before we had even agreed to work with Greg, he took it upon himself at no charge to check with our condo management if we could move a wall back 10 inches (which we could not, based on condo policy). Together we came up with an alternative plan. Once we formally decided to continue on with Greg we gave him our budget, and timeline. Gregs team started the following week, and were in and out within 2 weeks. The bulk of the renovation was roughly 5 days, but we also had custom glass that had to be specially ordered (which Greg took care of), and certain tiles we wanted that we had to wait an extra couple of days for, so it really was a painless process. Both our budget and timeline were met, and both my wife and I were extremely happy. We will definitely be using Greg and Garvin Alexis Homes for any home project we may have.
