I don't like dealing with contractors, but when Simon arrived for the estimate, I felt I could trust him. He was friendly and respectful and listened to my concerns. I thought I would have to wait weeks for the work to begin, but six days later his crew arrived and did an amazing job.
They worked quickly and neatly and cleaned up after themselves. My neighbors (both retired contractors) were impressed with the speed and skill of the workers. The dark brown fascia and troughs were very dated and the new color of the seamless troughs and fascia (with no visible nails) makes the house look 20 years newer. Simons crew of 4 men arrived at my house at about 9am. Unloaded their equipment from the truck, tarps were laid out between my house and my neighbours.

By 930am the old shingles were coming off the roof. By 11am roof was completly stripped.

New shingles were brought up to the roofs peak and as soon as all the bundles were up, the air gun and nails came out.

The crew only stopped once to have a 20-30min lunch then back on the roof.

Roof was finished and all the debris on the lawn were picked up by hand and with a magnetic bar sweeper by 3:30pm.

Simon was unable to attend as he was busy with another project, but twice he called me asking me if everything is good and wondered if I have any questions as his crew was working away.

Simon and his team are absolute professionals. If your out there getting quotes, look no further and hire this contractor. You wont regret hiring them!

Ys Roofing Inc and his team did a great job replacing my Eavestroughs and downpipes. They showed up promptly and did a very professional job making sure that the drain water flowed consistently. They were very courteous and professional and made sure to tidy up after installation. I would definitely recommend them!

Ys Roofing Inc did an excellent job. The project was completed in timely manner. The crew worked very Gutters clean, protected my interlocking and the outdoor furniture. The entire team is very professional and very easy to deal with.

Simon & his team provided excellent service from beginning to end. We had a comparatively small job to replace the shingles, fascia and eavestroughs as well as replacing rotting wood on our separate garage/workshop. I had 3 quotes and Simon was the only one who came out to discuss and inspect the job so we were clear what could be done. The other 2 companies didn't give complete quotes or inspect the job in person. As much as I prefer to support local businesses, they weren't too interested in the job. Simon's Communication was excellent throughout the job and the cleanup was excellent. Simon also accommodated me by doing a small repair on our house eavestrough that was leaking from another companie's poor workmanship. Thanks Simon to you and your team.

Simon came out and took a look at the hole in our roof made by some bad actors (fraud). He patched up the hole the best he could the same day and the follow day his entire crew was on the job!

We talked to the neighbors to get ALL our shingles replaced as we didn't want the semi-detached looking odd with half and half shingles, and they were happy with the quote Simon gave as well. Not only did they fix our plywood boards, they did an excellent job installing AND cleaning up after themselves.

There were a few spots to call out to clean and while they were difficult, the crew got the job done. The best customer care happened after - a few boards were left behind because we asked them to, but once we didn't need them, we did not know how to dispose of the boards. Simon alone came back the day after the job and after getting the entire payment, to come remove the pieces for us.

That is customer satisfaction. 100% recommend these folks!
