Thermostat installation, minor electronics & odd jobs

The contractors were very awkward and made my wife uncomfortable.

The original job was supposed to take one, maybe two days but they wound up having to come back 4-5 times because they wouldn't arrive until the afternoon. They didn't have full toolkits and would leave for the rest of the day because of this.

There were two of them when none of our jobs required more than one person. The second stood around most of the time doing nothing. When I asked why I was paying for two people, they told me "you're not paying for the helper".

Well, who's paying him then? Either I'm paying for him or I'm what, endorsing slavery?

Several times they left and what they were supposed to fix wasn't working, or something else would be broken--this included the breaker on our freezer, such that we had to throw all the food away.

Overall everything felt just really sketchy. I don't understand the good reviews.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,500.00

Company Response

Gordon, thanks for the review

No one pays for a sketchy work!
And we are sorry for your wife's inconvenience time during the work.
trouble shooting and repairs require going back and forth, for getting some special tools and parts to be replaced, and who pays for the gas and time off course, the contractor.
We sat our contract based on the fixed fee, not hourly rate or the number of the staff. So it didn't impact the cost.
