Carlton Landscaping

These guys just finished cleaning up my yard in Basinview. I was happy with their services and have no problem sharing my experience after they asked for a review. I didn't end up booking with them last year as I like to take care of the yard myself. I booked this year because I needed to trust someone to tidy up while I'm away and I'm happy to say they did a fantastic job! The mulch job is great and the clean up is evident. I appreciate the transparency with the pricing. Might be a little pricier for some folks.

I usually don't leave reviews but considering the snowfall we experienced this season, I felt it was necessary. We are an older couple who don't have any family nearby to help us with our snow clearing during the winter months. We tried calling multiple companies to help us but experienced poor luck. Carlton Landscaping was awfully busy but took us on as a client anyways and were very upfront about their schedule. We would love to give a big thank you to them for their services and will definitely be hiring them again next season.

Carlton Landscaping has been the most reliable landscaping company that I have dealt with to date! I have hired them for multiple services, starting with a sod installation and recurring services such as mowing and applications. The guys are great, friendly and do a good job managing expectations. Carlton has taken care of my lawn for a couple years now considering I cannot manage it by myself anymore. They have already started off the season by reaching out and getting me back on the schedule. Looking forward to working with them again!

I paid for nine sessions of mowing the lawn and only got five. They do not respond to emails or texts or phone calls. The men do not recognize plants and have mowed down my rhubarb repeatedly, even though instructed that it was rhubarb. They cant be bothered with the tricky bits like moving big branches before mowing, thereby sending splinters and sharp sticks all over the grass, do not trim the edges by the fence, cant be bothered to do the steep parts of the lawn. I ended up paying approximately double per session what I should have because I got no services after the first week of August even though I was paid up to have four more sessions by the end of September. Nobody ever showed up again. The photo below shows how out-of-control the lawn got before I managed to borrow a mower and deal with it myself. No response. Never never never pre-pay these people, I dont recommend them at all
