Bedroom door stuck, needed to replace doorknobs
My bedroom door got stuck and we couldn't manage to get it open. It had an old doorknob that didn't have a lock on it, and the door hinges and screws on the doorknob were on the *inside* of the bedroom. I was at my wit's end to get in, when forcing the door and trying to insert credit cards didn't work.
Fortunately, Refael responded quickly to the phone call, gave me an estimate, and came quickly to our house!
Apparently, the latch mechanism had broken. He used a nifty inflatable shim to jimmy the door open. *pop!* the door opened in 30 seconds!
He then gave us the option of replacing the doorknob for an extra cost, which we took him up on (getting a nifty new doorknob that locks). Work was done so professionally and quickly, that we opted to change another doorknob in the house to one that locks. He also took the time to tighten the screws on another doorknob for us.
