Price seemed excessive and no follow up

simple repair of a toilet drain that was leaking through the ceiling ended up costing $2,200.Parts were new PVC elbow. Adjustable flange , wax gasket and new water connection. ( my guess is about $100 for parts)Cut the ceiling open and cut the old cast iron drain and repaired.Total time from arrival to finish 5 hours which included the time to go into town to get the parts and to get a helper.
One man 5 hours and helper 2 hours? Maybe 7 in total.
$300 per hour labour seems excessive.
