JL painting

I originally hired Josiah to remove a bunch of wallpaper in an old house I purchased. I ended up hiring him to paint the whole place - walls, ceiling, doors and trim. He even ended up doing some mudding and taping for me. He ended up being a key team member in my house reno. At one point, the paint he put on the bathroom cabinets started to peel. The older paint was rejecting it. I let him know and he came back and fixed it right away free of charge. Hes my go to paint guy now.

The paint was peeling on the exterior frame to the garage door. Josiah painstakingly scraped off the old paint before priming and repainting. I was so impressed with him that I added repainting the front door to the list.
He is a total pro. He is meticulous, skilled, takes pride in his work and comes with a delightful personality. A neighbour watched him work and came over to hire him. I can 100% recommend Josiah.

Josiah did some repairs and repainted the outdoor trim on my house on the 20th of April 2022, he was very professional in his work. I asked him to do some extra work in addition to what we agreed on and he did it without any hesitation, did not charge me extra for that. JL painting and Hay were amazing to work with. This is the second time I have hired him. Both times he worked extremely quickly and with very high skill. You can tell he has a lot of experience. He’s very friendly and easy to arrange things with. The first job he did for me was painting the second floor and main floor of my house including doors and trim. It was a complex job with lots of colour changes by my designer and he completed it perfectly and in half the time that other painters had quoted and at a much better rate! It was excellent. I hired him again to paint my staircases. Very complicated as all the wood pickets needed to be painted but not the treads. The other great thing about Jay is he can be trusted 100%. He had lockbox access to my property and always locked it up at the end of the day and put the key in the lockbox etc. Its great to have a painter you can trust to do a great job at a great price. It has transformed my home. It’s all thanks to the hard work and dedication of Jay.
