We had renovations done in our house by our contractor, Carl, who hired Brad and his team at Kantra Electric to take care of all the electrical portions of the renovations. Carl only hires subcontractors he trusts, and we trust Carl. We were very happy with his choice of Kantra Electric, whom he's been working with for many years. In addition to the main renovations, we had a few other electrical projects we wanted done around the house, so Brad did a walkthrough with us and made detailed notes of everything in order to get us a proper quote. He was able to schedule his time according to when the installations were needed, which helped the renovations flow well and didn't cause any delays. Brad was very thorough and explained his process when needed, and why we'd need certain types of outlets, how the reset switches worked, etc. He made sure everything was to code, pulled permits and got the inspections done throughout the process (all were approved with no issues). He showed us where he'd added to our breaker switch and labeled everything clearly, and even took the time to fix the labels that weren't clear from the previous job (which is above and beyond what he needed to do and we really appreciated that). He wasn't sure he'd be able to get lights installed in the high ceiling foyer that we'd requested, but working with Carl, he managed to fish power through a very small opening and install awesome lights for us!
Brad is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and the other members of his team that we met were the same. Brad always made sure we were on the same page before he did anything. He made recommendations that made sense and answered any questions we had. The cost is very competitive for the high quality work and we're very happy with all the upgrades Brad and his team made for us. We could tell they care about their clients, and they care about doing a good job, which seems hard to find lately. It was a pleasure to deal with Kantra Electric and we would highly recommend them!
