Excellent work at a fair price! I decided to renovate a room in my house to use as a home theatre, but during my research for this project I discovered that I had an issue popcorn ceilings are terrible for room acoustics! Even though they are sometimes called acoustic ceilings, when sound hits them it's just scattered everywhere and can ruin a surround-sound effect.
Having painted the ceiling myself some years ago, methods for scraping off the old popcorn proved useless and I turned to Kijiji to find a professional. Michael promptly quoted my job and started working to mud smooth over top of my textured ceiling very shortly after.
Now that the job is finished, I'm delighted that my theatre room ceiling is flat like a slate pool table. It's as smooth as silk! I'm more than satisfied with how the job turned out and I'm very impressed by Michael's attention to detail. I will definitely call him again and couldn't recommend him more highly.
