Elk Restoration

I had some water damage in my basement from an over-flowing eavestrough that I had delayed repairing. I hired Elk Restoration to take out and replace some drywall, insulation and cabinets. They were professional, punctual and helpful when the usual renovation surprises happened. I was away for much of the work and was kept updated with pictures. I thought the price was fair and was happy with the result. I would use them again.

Keith and his team were extremely responsive at all stages of the process, starting with an on-site assessment, quote and then the work itself. The work was completed on time, to my satisfaction and the cost come in at the lower end of the estimate range that I agreed to. I would highly recommend Elk Restoration.

We contacted Elk Restoration about getting a quote on some water damage to 2 of our walls on our main floor. Kieth came out to asses the damage the same day I contacted them, he was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take. Fast forward 3 days later, they finished the job ahead of schedule and it was flawless. We had constant communication from Kieth on the steps needing to be done, they accommodated my work schedule so I could let them in the house during my lunch hour and left the house completely cleaned up and locked up when they left. Kieth also went above and beyond and came back after the job was finished to use his thermal gun on the walls to give us peace of mind that all was good and there was no hidden water damage. Elk restoration is the only company we will use for all future restorations and renovations.

We were experiencing condensation problems with our vaulted ceiling in our home. Called Keith from Elk Restorations to come and inspect. Keith suspected problems with the insulation and/or airflow within the ceiling and formulated a plan and budget on how to inspect and repair the problem. Keith and his crew (Kevin & Lou) stared on this project right away… They determined the problem and made the required repairs. The crew were very friendly and worked efficiently, safely and were always on time. They left the work area clean and tidy after each day. The job was completed on time and on budget, no surprises. I would without hesitation call Elk Restorations again for any future renovation projects.

I'm trying to get my garage in a usable state. It's been unused except as a garbage dump for years. First step was to get the roof replaced which was completed last year. The next thing needed was to get the junk out of the garage in preparation for the install of a new double garage door and opener.

This past Saturday I posted on Homestars a request for quotes for Junk removal. Keith responded right away and asked for pictures to base his quote on. Later on Saturday when Keith gave me his quote, I found it quite reasonable and accepted right away. We made arrangements for Keith and team to start the job on Monday morning.

Keith and Kevin showed up on time Monday morning. They were friendly and very easy to work with. I pointed out what was to be kept and they had at it. A couple of times Keith came to me, identifying items that they had found and wanting confirmation that they were to take it away. In most cases I kept the stuff they pointed out.

A little over two hours later the junk was gone and the garage was swept clean. It was the first time I'd seen the garage floor in years!!! Thank you Keith and Kevin for all the hard work. I highly recommend Keith and team, and will be calling you in the future if/when I need your services again.

Elk Restoration removed: dining room table, four chairs and a armoire. They were very courteous, friendly arrived early, did a fantastic job of removing the items from my condo and did not charge for this service. I would highly recommend them, will be letting others know of them and will be using them in the future!

Keith and his helpers removed large furniture items and dismantled and removed a large treadmill and exercise equipment. They arrive promptly and completed the job. Will definitely call them again!
