My 110+ year old home was in dire need of a new roof, siding, windows, porch repairs and insulation. Dream Exteriors was recommended to my by family and friends. Josiah came to give me a quote and was honest about what to expect and how if they found anything extra (with an older house, you know there will be something) that required attention and while I did have him add extra money to his quote to cover replacing the plywood under the shingles, nobody was prepared for the actual damage to my roof. Again he took the time to go over what was needed to ensure it was safe and secure. A quick call to let them know that the damage to my porch roof was causing leaking and in turn more damage to my porch. Although all the supplies for my renos weren't in yet, the roof became a priority and that part of the build began as soon as possible. The roof crew, lead by Collin was amazing. They were polite, professional and efficient. The three day job they started turned into more than a week but I could count on them showing every day, on time and putting in a full day of work and the clean up was second to none. Remembrance day brought an entire new respect for this crew as they paused work at 11 am and observed two minutes of silence which says a lot for a bunch of young guys determined to finish the job. The Siding and windows crew lead by Dave were amazing from start to finish. Again polite, personable, hard working, on time every day (even after an overnight snowfall and bitter cold). They answered any questions I had, addressed my concerns immediately and worked some days until it was past dark. They shoveled, they showered affection on the people loving dog and made sure that clean up throughout the day and especially at the end of the day looked like nobody had been working there. The special care bestowed upon the porch (my favourite part of the outside of the house) was truly amazing and everything I didn't know I needed. I made sure not to look at the front of the house for three days before they finished up because I wanted to see the whole package and enjoy the 'first look'. The did not disappoint. Their pride was apparent in their hard work, their desire to show their company in the best possible way and in their smiles as the tears formed in my eyes. My neglected old girl is now the Grand Dame of the street thanks to them.
