Tedot's Finest Sprinklers and Lighting

My sprinkler broke on a Sunday afternoon. I called Ted late in the afternoon, he answered the call and came out to my home. He diagnosed and repaired the issue quickly and professionally. His responsiveness and attention to detail was great. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of landscaping or sprinkler services.

Tedot’s Sprinklers is a excellent service people and price. People are so cooperative and friendly. They don’t look only for their time and money but more focus on customer service.

I found Ted and his foreman Darryl to be totally inconsiderate & uncaring due to a faulty installation of the valve on the system. I had to call them multiple times to get them to come. Even while installing the system initially they made mistakes and had to redo some parts of it. Because the installation took extra time they were in a hurry to leave and not come back the next day to make sure that the system was was working properly. When I called them about the leakage it took them about 10 days before they finally came and fixed the faulty valve. The leakage from the valve hiked my water bill to double what it normally is. When I reached out to Ted and Darryl they categorically told me that they are not be responsible for the leakage of the water
Personally I found both Ted and Darryl only interested in getting the $$$ but not at all interested in basic customer service.

The water leakage was from May 16th to June 24th and both Ted & Darryl would not accept that the increase in the water bill was due to the leakage. The text msgs confirming this are still on my phone

We had no idea why our sprinkler system wasn’t working. I spoke to Ted on the phone and he gave me some pointers, and then sent Darrell over within an hour. Darrell tested the whole system, explained everything patiently as he did it, and quickly identified and fixed the 4 problems we had in different parts of the system (broken pipe, broken sprinkler head, insufficient flow, leaking pipe). It’s like we have a brand new sprinkler system now! I can’t recommend Ted and Darrell enough - if I could give them 20 stars, I would!

Tedot’s Finest was the only response I received from Homestars when I posted a request for quotes (I did already have 4 other quotes from other sources so this wasn’t really a problem). Ted responded quickly to ask questions and explain his quoting process.

I began researching this company and found only a few reviews. All of the reviews were 9 or 10 out of 10 and that made me suspicious; nobody is THAT good.

I continued talking with Ted over a couple of weeks, received his quote via text message and then requested he come out to the house to have a look. He arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. We talked about zones, what specific features I wanted and agreed on the price. Ted did all of his research using technology before he arrived so he wasted no time at all when laying out the zones, measuring the flow rate and pressure from the hose bib, etc..

I was flabbergasted when Ted said he and his team were going to be on site for the installation at 0530; I asked if he could make it 0600 instead. I was even more shocked when they actually arrived on time and began working!!!

The team doing the install worked tirelessly, answered all of my questions, followed my requests about the various bits of landscaping that had to be moved and put back and, most importantly, respected my property.

After a long day, they were finished. All trenches were filled back in, sod replaced, landscaping replaced and, aside from the raised bits of sod from the trenches, the place looked like it did when they first arrived.

Follow up has been tremendous. Anytime I have sent Ted a message with a question, he has very quickly called me back to discuss over the phone. He and his crew are the top of the pile on all accounts. They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful of their client and property, respectful of their work. They all seem to enjoy the work they are doing, while still maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

I called Tedot’s Finest to see if they would work with the irrigation system I was building. Ted was willing to both listen to what I had in mind and to work with what I had built so far. He provided valuable advise and recommendations to modify the design. He provided options to purchase materials and also to build the system for me. I chose the latter option as his price was more than fair. He not only built the irrigation system but programmed the Rachio to ensure success in having a pristine grass and provided excellent advice for watering strategies for plants and grass. He and his team are a pleasure to work with.

Ted and team had provided us a great service. on time and completed the work on time. Ted is professional and has a thorough knowledge of the systems and his price is very competitive competitive with other major players in the market for sprinkler sysytem. He uses the best products in the market and provides answers to all your questions. Excellent communication from start to end. So happy with the service and work done.

I found Ted's company on HomeStars along with a few more, when looking for somebody to install a sprinklers system on our corner lot lawn.
All of the companies I had chosen, had high reviews and all of them, of course, were busy people. However, Ted's super quick response times, his readiness to listen and hear (which are not the same thing), his deep knowledge of the topic, willingness to help, stood out right away.
I decided to hire Ted and I do not regret. One can tell that this person and his guys do it not only because it is their job, but because they love it and they are proud of it.
Obviously, the job was well done and I would definitely recommend Ted and his crew to others. And just a few points as to why I would recommend. First, Ted is highly knowledgeable and sharp. He could answer questions that no other contractor knew answers to, even though all of them stated they had years of experience this family business . One can tell Ted has done a lot of research, experiments, gained a lot of experience on the "field" and he doesn't just install sprinklers - he consults on why, what, where, how much, why not, provides options and so on. He can easily support his answers by calculations. This has impressed me. Second, the guy makes himself available to answer questions or discuss any topics, even after the installation is complete. Third, his team is super friendly, hardworking, attentive to details, precise, and empathetic. They arrived extra early on the day we had agreed on, worked all the time they were at our place, they were super cautious, when digging and patching back by hand, and left everything clean and tidy after them.
