Ace Fence

We are very happy with our new fence! I give 4 stars due to some minor issues. Communication was a problem, we weren't prepared for the crew to arrive and start, we expected them later in the week. They also advised lumber would be delivered in the morning but the delivery came at 9pm instead (better than 5am but again, we were not ready or expecting a delivery).
Demolition and clean up were great - we asked for extra care in clean up due to pets and kids and concern about sharp staples and screws laying around. The crew did great!
Zed advised they would hand dig the posts to minimize damage to the yard and gardens. Unfortunately they still piled dirt on top of the gardens and destroyed them anyway when raking it away. They also claimed there was no rose bush when they installed the posts, however I had four rose bushes and now have only three. If it needed to move, a knock on the door could have had that rose replanted safely. Gardens aside, the work looks great. We had issue with an outside (public) corner being left unfinished, and like other reviews state, the crew thought it looked fine to them. Zed responded to all my concerns, and scheduled a meeting with his crew lead to review the corner. Deavon explained the reasoning (gas line, totally acceptable!) and he then came up with a solution that really finished off the corner and shows better workmanship. We were missing a gate handle as well, they resolved it, installed upside down but we will live with it. Im sure it was an accident.
We've received compliments already on the new fence!
There's always tension between contractors and homeowners but Zed, Deavon and team were patient and
helpful and heard me out. That's appreciated during these stressful and expensive updates.
