Bedrock Basements Limited

We hired Bedrock Basements out of 5 companies that we asked to submit bids for our project. Dmitry was very knowledgeable, straightforward, and gave us valuable input into our design. He asked for our feedback in the design/rendering stage of the project, and helped us to navigate the permitting process with the municipality. In all stages of construction; demolition, rough-ins, framing, drywall, flooring and finishing, Dmitry was very transparent about any problems, cost overruns, or delays. Interestingly, he was the only one of the contractors we contacted to encourage permitting of the project, which we thought was important.
Bedrock has an excellent catalog of furnishings, fittings, trims, paints and flooring to choose from, and they are categorized in standard and upgraded categories, so you know what youre getting and paying for; most of the choices are submitted by Google forms, making it easy to do.
The project was completed in a timely manner, and were were very happy with the finished project! If I had anything to offer as constructive criticism, I would say that using plastic sheets to seal off the construction area during the plumbing rough-in, and taping/sanding of drywall wouldve made our clean-up of the un-renovated portion of the basement much easier. Other than that, our experience was a good one: his tradesmen are pleasant and efficient, and the attention to detail in the finishing stage was excellent!
