Unsafe workmanship, Can't be trusted, Very Expensive
We had Dunn's Electric, do some electrical work from solar panel array leading to our house.
It was recently pointed out to us that the junction box that he installed at the array is unsafe. Please note in the photo. In the case solar power needed to be turned off and not to reach the house components there is NO DISCONECT/BREAKER SWTICH at the junction box that he installed. One would think that is an important safety feature!
We opened the plate on the box and to our shocking surprise a good cup of water gushed out. The cause is easy to see in the photo. On top of the box, note a ¼ inch ground wire and water entering a ¾ inch hole which is OPEN!!!
More accumulation of water could have shorted everything out?
Can you imagine the damage that would have caused?
Perhaps sparking and causing a fire???
We share this with all you fine folks out there and beware who you choose for your electrical needs
For safety sakes, how can one trust his work.. AS for us DUNN is DONE!
