A wind storm took down a neighbour's tree branch which landed on our power line taking our the power (and heat). It was an emergency so I wasn't in the mood to get a lot of quotes for the job. I opened Homestars and selected Best Choice since there were so many positive reviews. Andy was there bright and early the next morn and we had our service repaired and power restored the same day. A very positive and friendly individual who stayed on the job until everything was complete, inspected and our power restored.
It is easy to see why so many give him 10/10 in their reviews. I recommend Andy and Best Choice Electric without any reservations.

Breaker switch was tripping constantly and could not figure out why. Checked HomeStars for ratings and settled on Andy from Best Choice. He came same day, gave me options, did some troubleshooting and fixed the problem. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy, and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Andy from Best Choice Electrical Inc fixed my electrical baseboard heaters quickly and efficiently. He explained why it was not working and showed me what he did to get it working. He also fixed a burned out electrical socket as well as a broken electrical panel in both of my bathrooms.

Andy was very helpful in installing a replacement bathroom fan/light in an older home. He persisted to get it right when there was an unexpected issue. His price was very reasonable. He is busy but did make time for our job. He and his wife Sharon, an electrician who assisted, were very pleasant and friendly. He also did two smaller jobs, including replacing a broken lightswitch/dimmer and hoodlight over the stove. Andy was good at explaining what he was doing and providing some teachable moments for the homeowner. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, and seems to enjoy helping his customers achieve their goals.

Andy fixed several light switch and ceiling light issues I had, back in October. He was really easy to communicate with to schedule the appointment, was thorough in explaining the issues, and was able to fix everything same day. I would definitely recommend. Thanks Andy!

We needed 3 electrical baseboard heaters in our basement and garage. Received a detailed quote from Andry the same day, that we accepted and scheduled the visit shortly after. Andy is a nice, friendly guy who is very knowledgeable and helpful in his ideas and advice. I called him for some electrical work and am glad I did. He told me exactly what needed to be done and also what did not need replacing. His work was smooth, quick and efficient. We've used Andrew for over 2 years now as our electician. He's prompt, honest and very skilled and knowledgable.

We call him when we have 4 or 5 issues for him to look after and he is basically able to handle anything re electrical repairs.

I didn't know Andy when I hired him to do the electrical for my kitchen renovations. Of all the contractors I have worked with on these renovations, there have been only two contractors worth hiring again. Andy is one of them. His breadth and depth of knowledge underpin his professional, calm, friendly approach. He told me he likes to help clients get the desired results, and he did that. I hired him for one thing and took the initiative to double-check previous electrical work. I caught an error that would have caused a ceiling fire.

One last point - his prices are reasonable. I needed an electrician quickly and thought it was going to be expensive. It wasn't. He is fair in his costs and honest in his billing.

Andy is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. As new homeowners, he provided us with a lot of great advice and guidance on how to set up our home in a safe and effective manner.
