New Central Air Conditioner and Furnace Diagnostics
contacted Brent on July 5th to get a quote for a new furnace since my last technician indicated to me that the heat exchanger was about to crack so I figured I better act on this. I also wanted to replace my broken AC unit too.
I was thankful that Brent took the time to come out to Toronto to see me as his clientele is in Mississauga. He arrived promptly on time and began a full diagnostic check on my furnace. He explained the tests he was performing for the carbon monoxide levels and showed me that the heat exchanger had some wear and tear but not to the point that the furnace had to be replaced right away. Brent said probably in 2-3 years most likely. I was overjoyed to hear this as the furnace was only 12 years old. I really appreciated his honesty and his professionalism. I will definitely get my furnace from him when it's time to do so.
My AC quote was reasonable and Brent acted quickly to get me a unit to be installed next day which was during the heatwave on the hottest day ever 40C humidex. He arrived promptly and installed unit doing all necessary tests to make sure it was in excellent working condition before he left. I am so grateful for his expertise, knowledge and friendliness.
