Next Construction Management

My new shower stall is perfection. My old shower stall was not.
Joseph luckily has a "can do" attitude and he is an excellent problem solver. Working in a condo with all the rules and waiting for the service elevator adds more complications.
The materials used and previous construction of my shower stall were utterly unacceptable. This created huge additional scope of work correcting the past mistakes.
I enjoyed very much working with Joseph and recommend him highly to anyone who appreciates workmanship with integrity.

We were very pleased with Joe’s bathroom renovation, we are happy to recommend his work and we would hire him again.

He did it all: demolition, drywall, tiling, plumbing, electrical and the accessories.

Our reno involved a small bathroom in a 100 year old house. The house had many odd angels including an incline wall alongside the tub. We needed to renovate so we could stand in the shower without touching that wall and we wanted to make the most out of our new space. Joe completed the job within our estimated timeframe and on budget.
This was our first major renovation so we had many questions. Joe took the time to answer all our questions, he came to see the space before preparing the quote.

His quote was very detailed. We really appreciated that. It showed all the work that we talked about and the associated price, with optional items we discussed that we could add or remove. (We got a heated floor and would very much recommend that too). This quote became a checklist for the renovation project.

We liked that the quote separated materials from labour. We were able to purchase all the exterior items (fixtures, tub, tile, vanity and accessories) on our own. This allowed us to spend more (or less) on different areas of the job. Joe was happy to give advice and input on these items and he could pick them up as needed.

He communicated with us very well. Sending us photos of the work as he went. He reached out if a decision was needed. When we were picking tile he joined us (on the Zoom call) and his insight helped inform our final decision. He gave informed opinions and options but he still made it clear that we would have the final say.

Another reason we liked Joe is all the tools and tech he brought to the job. At one point we discovered a vent pipe behind the wall. He had a scope camera to investigate this.. When we were putting up the accessories he wanted to double check behind the wall for wiring and he had a scanner for that. He loves his work and it shows.

Joe was clean and professional. He placed mats down over the carpeting, kept his work spaces tidy when not in use and gave a thorough clean when complete. This work was completed during a COVID lockdown and Joe was masked during all our interactions.

Most importantly, Joe completed our renovation with a sense of personal responsibility, He had a keen eye for detail and showed great care and pride as if he was working on his own home.

The only problem we had was manufacturer related. The sink in the vanity didn’t fit the drain properly and a few weeks later we noticed some water under the sink. We contacted Joe and he was more than happy to come and remedy the problem.

We are glad we hired Joe, we look forward to hiring him again for our next renovation and recommend you contact him for your next home renovation.

My basement suffered water damage which caused a lot of headaches for me. I didn’t know where to start I met with a few people in basement repairs and Reno’s but eventually it was suggested to me to use Next Construction Management. I met with Joseph From NCM and something about him put my mind at ease, I believe it was how thorough he was in explaining the process and the best method of attack to repair the damage, but also improve the functionality of the living space.

I am extremely satisfied and happy that I used Next Construction Management to completely reinvent my basement living area. I can’t thank him and his team enough.
