Brenton’s service was excellent, he communicated frequently and fit me in with tight timelines on this job. He was very flexible with my schedule and made the timing work which was much appreciated. A little room for improvement around the outlets which weren’t done quite right but otherwise would highly recommend for a well done, efficient, and cost effective service. Thanks Brenton!

I had to get mould remediation (which Brenton noted he can also do) done which resulted in my walls being cut out. Brenton rebuilt my walls including curbs at the sliding door sills. He also painted the entire condo. He did a great job, the workmanship was better than the workmanship on the existing walls. He is also going to be coming back to install new floorboards at the base of the walls once I get my flooring redone (which Brenton noted he can also do). He easy to work with comes on time, listens to what you need/want, and provides realistic advice. Highly recommend working with Brenton.

I sent out a search on Homestars for some wall repair work we needed to get done quickly before we listed our condo for sale. Brendan contacted me that same day (Sunday) and was in first thing the next morning. He was extremely professional, reliable and just a nice guy. I will hire him again with hesitation. I wish I'd taken some before and after shots. but I didn't, his work was flawless. He was extremely reasonable in his price, a fraction of what I was quoted by a contractor. Highly recommend him, so grateful he was so fast and good, we were under a lot of pressure and he really delivered for us.

I had a ceiling vent in the kitchen that fell out. It turns out that over the years the vent had been removed (for cleaning etc) and put back in . The ceiling was a popcorn ceiling and the vent had not been affixed properly. One day it almost fell on my head. Unfortunately for a variety of reasons (like the fact that the units in my old building are not well isolated, having the vent was necessary.)

My request as I had posted it originally asked for someone to do a patch repair job as the area around where the vent had to be screwed in were "well used" (the ceiling drywall had been eaten away.)

BC Pro choice was the first to respond and the only one to come on site, review the work and actually engage with me. Brendan whom I dealt with waked me through my options and actually suggested a cheaper option.

As part of the fix there was a bit of a miscommunication and I called him afterwards thinking that the repair had not stuck. It turns out that was not the issue (it was user error.) What I learned was that Brendan and BC Prochoice will stick by their work even if its a small job.

Yes, I would use this firm and individual again.
