The company had missed their original appointment. This put our move at risk as you could only book the elevators for short windows, and we needed to be out of the apartment that night . After a favor from security, we were able to get another window. Nest decided to come back after urging them to meet their commitment. Unfortunately, the services were again poor. While several other movers were able to come in and out, the individuals sent by nest were not efficient, with one incredibly rude individual . This individual was making rude comments in a foreign language he did not realize we could understand. Half way through the move , the team had decided they did want to finish the job . After negotiating with Gary, he was kind of enough to support and convince his partner who was incredibly unprofessional. His partner would then go to drop several boxes throughout the move, damaging several items. They would continue to drag their feet, finishing (not the full apartment) after several hours. This required myself to move items to make up for the one unprofessional employee , who was the truck driver. This employee again needed to be convinced to move items, requiring two people to move items off the truck towards the last leg of the move.
While one employee, Gary, was great and a professional, the rest was horrible and made for one of the worst experiences. I’d encourage the company to better vet employees prior to engaging them with customers. This was not only a bad look for myself, but to several others (including other movers) in the building who had witnessed the behavior of nest employees and offered to support . These others could have been future customers and I could have been a referral. I am hoping the company makes the corrections needed and takes this feedback to thrive in the future
