As a person who has experienced many moves, I have to say that this moving company exceeded my expectations! The staff was so friendly and professional, and they took great care of my belongings. I gotta give a shoutout to Get Movers for coming through with my move from Montreal to Hamilton. They were straight up pros the whole way through.

Booking was a breeze, and they were able to hook me up with the date I wanted. On the day of the move, they showed up right on time and got down to business. They were super careful with all my stuff, making sure everything was wrapped up tight so it wouldn't get damaged during the move.

They kept me in the loop throughout the day, letting me know how things were going and answering any questions I had. They even helped me take apart some of my furniture and put it back together in my new place.

They made my move so much easier, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving crew.

$$PLEASE AVOID$$, (unless you like your belongs damaged and missing)- my apologies as this might be lengthy, but pls. read on if youre considering a moving quote from this company. I went for the Google reviews & had multiple quotes, and sorry now that I chose this company in hindsight, as it is costing me considerably more to repair the damage this company has done to my personal property/belongings.
I had a move with this Getmovers and my mother did as well about 4 months ago, (only getting around to the review now)Im still left fixing or replacing the stuff they damaged, and still have had no response about missing and damaged items to date.

The worst part is their customer service hotline, which I believe is called the customer success department, has zero accountability or follow up-you can send the pictures, send an estimate, send whatever they ask you for & if they respond, its a generic message asking you to resend the same info. -Seriously?
If you try to go one step further & call to talk to a person, they say they will review your claim, with absolutely no follow up to this review or they may say they are waiting on the area supervisor to call you backIm still waiting for my call back after 4 months!
I personally dont call that success, and certainly not customer focused or customer satisfactionmost definitely not, customer success.

On a side note- Im sure this review will be met with a generic response (if any) saying to call them, and all things will be copacetic & right in the worldthe last forgotten 4 months were just a test run.
In closing I will say, I didnt have the easiest move, and I know there is a possibility for damage when moving things, but what I fail to understand is when you see things like a glass table top shelf at one end waiting to go on a truck and then it doesnt show up at the other endwhere did it go? in my mothers case parts attached to her TV that was wrapped up, and is missing when I gets to the destination. I guess I will never know the answer to where the missing items go, because that requires some action, accountability, and a response from this company on their end.
As with all things-the decision
is up to the individual to make-but buyer beware you could be rolling the dice as we did, and it didnt go in our favour

These guys are excellent at their jobs! They were very professional and moved my belongings in a fast and efficient manner. Everything was top notch from beginning to end with the entire company. I will definitely call them again for any future moving needs.

Hiring this company was the best part of our move. Their emails were informative, clear, and well-timed. In addition, the dispatcher texted me the night before, during the move itself, and afterward to confirm. Everyone was very friendly and genial which you really appreciate in the midst of what can be a very stressful day. The price was very fair for the size of the move and the time it took.

Communication ahead of the move was really easy and quick. The movers arrived exactly on time and took great care with everything. They had plenty of blankets, tape, and plastic wrap for all of my furniture. Special shout to the lead mover Tom who was extremely communicative and made sure everything was done well. I'll definitely be hiring them again in the future.

Mark and Oscar did an excellent job. They packed the items well and moved them out very quickly. They were extremely professional. As a whole, my experience with GetMovers was excellent, efficient and professional.

The crew sent for the move was fantastic! They were on time, communicative, careful, and they hustled! We had zero breakage or loss and they were done with a full 12 workstation (plus additional storage, kitchen, etc.) move in 4 hours! I definitely recommend GetMovers and will happily use them again!
