I posted a job on here in October 2023 to have the 2 small walls in my sun room (11 feet each in length) renovated - remove the old screen walls and replace them with framed drywall walls and a door to the outside. The door was to be an inexpensive 32 door with a window. Despite Rez having measured everything he did not realize he could not install an outward swinging door because it would hit the roof of my gazebo on my deck. It was his helper that noticed this during framing and offered the suggestion of sliding patio doors. Rez asked for an additional $500 for this change. I paid him immediately - the same day. It took months for the patio doors to be delivered and he promised they would be installed while I was on holiday from Jan 23 to 30, 2024. I came home and they were not installed. 2 weeks later he came and installed them. They are not level and do not latch or lock. Ive contacted him repeatedly to return and fix them and complete the job. There is still more drywalling to do, windows and doors to be trimmed and interior walls to be painted. He says he doesnt do exterior work in the winter - but he took 90% of the cost of the job before Christmas 2023! There is also exterior siding to be done and this also remains incomplete.
This has been an awful experience and extremely stressful. This project started in November 2023 and is still not done.

Many times we mentioned that we do not work in wintertime and the Sun room is extremely cold...A professional painter will know exactly what I'm talking about. You can't paint on a cold day. In an area that does absolutely have no heat. The paint will crack and it will not stick or dry...This homeowner, on the other hand doesn't understand that she is very rude and argumentative and absolutely has no understanding how things work and when the job started Unfortunately, it was close to Christmas holidays. There were delays with where I ordered the doors from home depot and that's totally out of my control again. She would not understand that, so there's nothing that we can do and we are not going to do what the homeowners thinks is right We are going to do the way we know it's the right way..
