Strongly recommend Matthew & Adam from Kako Brothers. We needed our basement re-done, when we bought our home the basement was finished but very poorly constructed. Kako Brothers came to the rescue, did a complete demo and really took the time to understand our needs and wants. They were very polite, punctual and came through at a very reasonable cost working along our budget. Before & After photos provided. Thanks again guys!

We downsized to a new semi-detached home and needed our basement finished to provide an extra bedroom, storage and exercise space. Kako Brothers did an amazing job on our basement reno and completed it before the holidays! Pricing was fair and they were able to help us manage all aspects of our reno. I especially love the feature wall in the bedroom! Matthew and Adam had great input helping us with the design. They completed the framing, drywall, flooring, trim, feature wall, stairs, doors, and storage shelves. They had a great contact for the electrical work. I would highly recommend Matthew and Adam from Kako Brother's!

Matthew and Adam were prompt, professional, and provided excellent workmanship for 140 of backyard privacy fence, a 30 front pathway of jumbo limestone slabs with surrounding pea gravel borders, a matching overlay of square cut limestone on the front porch, and an s-shaped, curved curb between the garden and grass. The pathway has a unique, ancient temple vibe which was a new design they developed with me. Great teamwork. Excellent communication. 10/10 would hire again. Book with them well ahead of your project date as they are in demand and quite busy! Ill post pictures when I have the garden plantings in place.

I found Kako Brothers landscaping on Facebook by chance and asked for a quote.
I received an immediate reply from Matthew who arranged to come and discuss my project the following afternoon.
He arrived on time, was young and enthusiastic, articulate and polite.
I told him my visions for the project and he had many thoughtful suggestions as to how to improve my vision.
He contacted me the following day with an estimate which I thought was reasonable and told him that I was happy with the estimate and we arranged to meet to hammer out the fine details and pick a start date as well as an estimate of a time frame to complete the project.
Matthew and Adam who look like a couple of red headed twins but are not, started the project on the exact date that they quoted even though we picked this date several months beforehand.
They are fast, efficient and very competent in their work and all of our neighbours commented on the high quality of their workmanship and speed.
I asked for several additional things during the project and they were easy to accommodate me with a reasonable quote of the additional changes such as built in storage sheds, etc.
We have now contracted them to build a front porch.
As an aside, I never got another quote from another contractor, rather I was looking for dependability and high quality and I found it.
I high recommend the Kako Brother's Landscaping and give them 10 out of 10 Stars.

We had Matthew and Adam put in a fence in our back yard and we and our neighbours could not be more pleased. They arrived the day they said they would, explained exactly what was going to be done and finished the job on time. They were professional and their workmanship was top notch. I would recommend them again, and will be having them return for additional landscaping work.

Kako Brothers Landscape and Construction did a great job building our decks and shed last Fall. We had a hard time envisioning what to do with our backyard, but Matthew came up with some great ideas that we incorporated and it looks great. We love the the shed they built too. I feel that they delivered on their promise, and built well constructed structures. Can't wait to enjoy our outdoor spaces starting this Spring.

Kako Brothers did a fantastic job demolishing an old hot tub and deck and installing a new deck. The structure is solid and looks great. Kako Brothers were reliable and brought top quality workmanship to this project.

I can't say enough good things about the workmanship that Adam and Matthew from Kako Brothers provided. They used their creativity to develop a plan for our back living space to maximize our area and keep us private. The front pavers beside our driveway have held up beautifully. Kako Brothers were friendly and respectable and produced a beautiful outdoor oasis for us. I highly recommend them!

The Kako bros were hired to create a pergola and some privacy fencing as we had lost a tree and were too exposed. We ended up replacing our interlock patio as well. They kept our budget in mind while offering suggestions that we hadnt thought of. The results are beautiful as you can see and we were so pleased that we had them do our front as well. Lots of compliments from the neighbors!
