I recently hired Ahmed's Moving Company for a move from a two-bedroom apartment. Heres a summary of my experience:

1. Pricing Issues: I was quoted a flat rate of $800, but ended up being charged $1500. The additional charges were not communicated upfront and included extra fees for Sunday and fuel.

2. Scheduling Problems: The move was initially scheduled for a Sunday, but due to concerns over parking, it was rescheduled to Monday. This caused significant inconvenience as I had to take a day off work.

3. Delays: On Monday, the team arrived at 2 PM and took four hours to load the truck. The move to the new location started late, resulting in delays.

4. Damaged Items: Unfortunately, several items were damaged during the move. This added to the frustration and disappointment with the overall service.

5. Communication Challenges: When I tried to address the unexpected charges with Ahmed, I was unable to reach him for clarification. The team also refused to unload our belongings until the new fee was paid.

Conclusion: While the company completed the move, the experience was marred by unexpected costs, scheduling issues, and communication difficulties. Prospective customers should be aware of these challenges.

Ahmed and his team were fast, professional, courteous, and zero stress. We made contact on Friday about a last minute move of a small bakery on the following Monday. Ahmed was responsive and helpful and worked with us to make the move work within our budget. During the move, Ahmed and his team were kind, patient, and worked quickly and without complaint about some of our more challenging items/architecture ;-). We have made several moves over the years, and this was the least stressful of them all. We will definitely use RPG moving again, and would recommended Ahmed and his team without hesitation.

I hired Ahmed and his crew to move me from my condo into a new home. First, his truck broke down, which was not his fault, but he asked ME to procure a new truck and drive it to the location, which I was not comfortable with. He also kept asking me questions that made me lose confidence in him, such as: is your bed dismantled? Do you have tools? Does your car have a hitch?

Although RPG completed the move on time, there was an additional item that needed to be moved from a storage unit. He asked me if he could do it later in the week , because he wanted to deal with his truck. I agreed and paid in him good faith. I have not been able to reach him since (I have tried SEVERAL times), and have not heard from him. I am extremely unimpressed with his lack of professionalism, and he did not complete the contract, nor did he refund me any money or explain. I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

The pickup from the second location was absolutely included in the original price, AND I could not reach RPG to complete the job. Please do not put any stock in these excuses.

I asked for a flat rate to move 3 larger items from one apartment to another in the same building. I was given a flat rate of $450 to move two filing cabinets and an office desk. While they were there, I asked them how much it would be to move one other armoire to the other apartment. He said, "I'll tell you after I move it." It took about 10 minutes for them to take the item to the other apartment. I left the money with my employee and went to a meeting. When I came back I learned he had charged another $170+ on top of the $450. I was told the receipt would be emailed. I gave them my email and never received it. I let them know that I was upset about the ridiculous added cost and he said that it was a cost of $100 to move an item plus he added tax. None of this was discussed. I also reminded him that we are non-profit company. He said he didn't know. But, we had discussed it in the elevator as I was taking them to the first apartment. I waited two weeks for Ahmed to make it right and have not hear back since. I would be cautious with this company.

They helped us move in the AM. Truck was a good a good size but unfortunately we had too much stuff and had to empty and fill it again. They went with the flow.

Nice experience, they made it very easy for me. They were polite, on time, and did a great job in a timely manner.

Came on time and worked to keep things safe and moved in time. They stick to their words and are dedicated, would use again for sure.

Service providers were responsible and were careful with moving items to the new location. They were responsible and kept open communication.

They did the job start to finish including taking apart furniture, moving it safely down or up stairs, and putting it back together. Easy guys to work with at a good price. We have hired them a number of times now.
