I vetted nearly 10 different stucco suppliers which ranged in quotes from $5,000 to $47,000. The approaches and diagnosis of the issues were extremely divergent.

John came with a very practical approach, demonstrated where he saw the issues and presented a solution that gave me piece of mind over the long term (was very concerned about making small fixes and then continually worrying about the problem).

Team delivered on commitments, on time and on budget. Were extremely professional and cleaned up. Also paid special attention to our flowers once we gave them the heads up (house was surrounded by scaffolding).

Very happy with the work and can't recommend them enough.

Great job installing our new stucco. Our home is 16 years old and the original woodwork was needing more and more work done to it every season. We decided to go with stucco to reduce maintenance and refresh the look of our home. HL was excellent, they quoted accurately, delivered in the time requested, the workmanship is very good and the results are excellent exceeding our expectations. Highly recommended!

The stucco on my 12 year old home started to crack and peel off the window sills / surrounds on the sun-facing side. I reached out to several companies in the GTA to get quotes. I was shocked by the range of pricing I got and felt like most of them were being a bit dishonest or trying to upsell services to redo the entire front of my house unnecessarily.

I then reached out to John at H&K stucco. I got the immediate feeling that he is a decent hard working individual. He gave me a reasonable quote and didn't try to upsell. He showed up within a week, earlier than anticipated and completed the work on time. The communications were excellent via text message. They setup a scaffolding structure in front of the house and John and his partner Yilmaz did the stucco and painted all the trim. The final results were very professional! The neighbours immediately started coming over to ask who did the work.

I got window trims put around all my front windows, front door and garage doors. I also got the bottom part of my house redone with stucco. John came and gave me a fair quote for all the work. His team was so professional and left the job site so clean. They worked quickly and efficiently to wrap up everything in a few days. The attention to detail and work was amazing. I am a very picky person and Johm and surpassed my expectation. I would not hesitate to hire John and his crew on future projects.

The front of my house and detached garage needed a refresh. In addition, there were some large cracks as well as damage around the window mouldings on the house, as well as cracks around the garage front and one long ceiling crack on an overhang area.

John and his crew came and did all the work in two full days and I am very happy. He even fixed some damage around the windows that was not noticed on first inspection, so he takes a lot of pride in doing a good job. Some of the window mouldings had very ornate profiles and the repairs made are practically invisible now. So I'm very happy with the result.

It was a pleasure dealing with John, especially so, as he came after and fixed some of the problems following a very poor experience with Pella Windows. So it was nice to deal with a professional who does what he says and more.

I wanted some additional stucco moulding installed on a new construction project that the builder did not complete. I called around and got a few quotes. Some of the quotes were almost 3X greater than the price quoted by John @HK. John and his team started the job quickly and finished up before I knew it. I compared the work HK did to the existing work and there is definitely a big difference. John is a craftsman that pays attention to detail, takes his time to do it right and actually cares about the finished result. I would have HK back in a heartbeat when there is more stucco work required.
