We got our bathroom renovated from the team. Overall the team displayed poor quality of work, they were extremely unprofessional in their approach and lacked the concept of customer service. To begin with the 4 weeks job as stated took close to 14-16 weeks to complete. The team came every day and worked for 1-2 hours and in some cases were speaking over the phone. During the course of the work, we constantly tried to reach out to the contractor indicating that the team was not professional and were doing a shoddy job, but he didn't care nevertheless. The most problematic was the small bathroom's pocket door. The team to begin with didn't do a proper job with the framing of the door and it was misaligned. This further led to a struggle in opening the bathroom door. When we pointed out the problem, rather than identifying the solution and accepting that it was a misaligning issue of the frame, the contractor said the pockets door never slide properly and this is how they open and close. Further to which we pointed out that the pocket door is rubbing against the paint and that would mean we would have to repair or repaint the door in few months, to which the contractor added and said "Yes, you will need to paint it yourself in a few months or hire someone to do it.". Recently the pocket door after frequent use came off it's rail and we invited another contractor to fix it. The hired contractor took videos of the work and indicated that the work was not done up to code and that the dry wall did not have any studs. He also added that the bathroom tile was not aligned towards the drain and if the open area accumulated water, it would run into the bedroom.
We have so many friends looking for recommendations for contractor but overall this experience left a bitter taste for us.
When we complained about the shoddy and tardy work done by the Team, the contractor said that we had high standards. It was only after a year when we realized (when told by another contractor) that the contractor lacked the concept of good standards. The new contractor affirmed that the work done by Elite Class Development was sub par in quality.
