I hired Royal Oak Design and Build to create a dream backyard with a fibreglass pool. The renderings look beautiful and they play on your emotions with those in order to get the contracts. These brothers are young and should be go getters, unfortunately they do not show up to work,or are on time unless their trigger payment is due. Which their terms are 90% upfront before you even see what they are capable of. They are a new company(everyone needs to start somewhere) but my dream backyard turned into excuses and mistakes because they do not have the experience or actually know what they are doing. Tim will say he stands behind his work, however when something needs fixed or goes completely wrong on their doing, they put the blame on another trades person and then put a band aid fix on it and will try and come after the home owner for more money! My entire backyard is a mess. I let them go because they just are not capable of doing the job, although they will say they are. Tim will talk you into circles and try and come to a conclusion. But when its time to be onsite, these brothers are never around. Im out a lot of money because they used my money to pay another familys deposit back and did not keep my money in trust to provide the equipment and materials I paid for. Please save yourself the stress, emotional roller coaster of their excuses, and your bank account because you will need to hire a company more capable of doing the work if you decide to go with Royal Oak Design and Build. I am not the only family who has experienced these same issues.
