KPro Painting Service

I wanted to post this in hopes of saving another unsuspecting customer a lot of trouble. Initially they seemed eager, responsive and professional. We wanted to support a local small business. We didnt do our homework and did not check Homestars for reviews. We should have because it is all summarized there nicely. The issues we encountered were endless and have been left with a fully paid for unfinished job. Despite numerous promises to return, our messages now go unanswered. Not to mention they charge for HST without a registered HST number.

I hired Kevin and KPRO Painting to paint my exterior windows, backyard pavilion and front pillars on July 18th and 19th. Immediately after the job was done, there were several touch ups that were needed. Despite my better judgement, I decided to pay him in full since Kevin promised to come back to fix those touch ups. Within a week, the paint started to bubble, peel and and chip off. It has been 4 MONTHS of me trying to get him to come back to fix the job but with no luck at all. In addition, the paint on the front pillars have also started to chip off. It's been nothing but excuses after excuses and empty promises...if he even responds at all. At first, he claimed that it was too hot to fix the windows and now t's too cold. Instead of just coming back to fix the problem, he's been avoiding me for 4 months and now trying to delay until the next Spring. The work is terrible and the service has been even worse. I was very patient but it's become clear that Kevin has no plans in taking accountability of the work and making it right. He had more than enough time to come back and fix the job. After being fed up, I asked for a refund but of course, he refused. Now I am left with a terrible exterior paint job and I'll have to find someone else to fix it at my own expense.

For those considering Kevin and KPRO Painting, please find someone else! Once he has your money, he WILL NOT come back if anything goes wrong. The verbal warranty that he provides is absolutely meaningless. And based on other reviews, it looks like he has walked away from jobs in the past as well. Do yourself a favor and find another more reputable painter.

Kevin and his crew were hired as subcontractors to complete an elevated exterior painting project for a customer of mine. I introduced both the homeowner and Kevin to each other to communicate all details of the work required. Along the way Kevins crew were given the wrong information and started painting the recently installed vinyl windows.
Instead of working with the homeowner to correct the situation Kevin abandoned the job, ignored all communications from myself and the homeowner but did collect his payment for the incomplete services, which I had hoped the homeowner did not provide him.

They did a horrible job overall. They were more concerned about finishing it off in 3 days and not at all about the quality of the work. They took shortcuts, didn't patch the walls anywhere unless told to do so, didn't clean the walls, didn't prime at some places, and left without painting some of the ceilings. The list is endless. Kevin is a nice guy, but I paid for painting the house. I have no idea how they got 5-star ratings. Uploading just some of the pictures.

Edit: A professional has confirmed that the ceilings on one of the floors were never painted and the other ceilings were not properly primed.

I am more than happy with the time and the effort put into making my home complete and beautiful. I will definitely use your company again and refer you to all my friends and family for future business. Kpro Painting has made this experience worthwhile, with limited hassles, strong professionalism and most of all, showing why they are great at what they do.

Did not remove the blinds before painting. Very little sanding. They were quick and neat. Some uneven amounts of paint.

Right from the get-go, Kevin was an excellent communicator and responded VERY quickly to our inquiries, including providing a written estimatewith EXCELLENT pricing. On the day of the job, he let us know when he was on his way to our home and he and his team arrived right on time! In completing the job, they worked quickly, efficiently and did a beautiful job! And to top it off, the clean-up was done thoroughly, leaving us to do nothing but stand back and admire the work that had been done! Were already making plans about when we can get Kevin back to do some more painting in our home. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

Kevin responded immediately, was punctual, honest, knowledgeable and they performed great work. He was able to get the Benjamin Moore paint colours I requested with trade discount. 645 sq ft unit with ceilings, baseboards and walls double coated completed in 2 days. Highly recommend. Kevin responded to all my emails right away. He was able to meet with me at my location. He was very professional and helpful with the break down of the cost. Him and his crew did a great job. I would recommend them again.

KPro did an incredible job with painting my main floor, great room and second floor hallways. Everything from ceiling, walls, doors and trim looks superb. All this was completed lightning fast and with great accuracy.

From the get go, communication and response time was amazing. KPro promptly provided quotes and project schedules. Everything was done on time and as promised. I would highly recommend KPro.
