RCR recently finished our basement for us - we added a family room, office, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. When he started, Sean assured me that he would be finished by the first week in December, which was an important deadline for us. As it happened the RCR team were completed by the first week of November. The quality of the finishes are excellent, he was ahead of time, on budget, and no surprises. It was a pleasure to have the RCR team working in our home - polite, respectful, clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company if you are considering a renovation.

When I accepted a job in the USA I started looking for a contractor for a much needed Kitchen Renovation. Sean was the only one that was confident that he could meet my very strict timeline, and my budget. There were absolutely 0 surprises that came up during my renovation. His employees were on time, professional, and worked hard all day, then cleaned up well before they left for the day. Sean was easy to reach and very easy to work with throughout the whole process, and when he said he was done, there were NO deficiencies that I could point out. When he said he was done, everything was done; and I mean everything was done! I absolutely would hire him again if I still lived in the area.

RCR gutted our main ensuite, removing the old shower, jacuzzi and vanity. They proceeded to build a beautiful modern tiled bathroom with a larger shower, new bathtub and vanity. All stages of the renovation were handled with the highest professionalism and courtesy. We always knew when RCR was coming and what the plan was. All workmanship was top notch and completed in a timely fashion. All workers showed a great attention to detail and quality, and addressed any and all questions we had. Best of all, Sean and Brad are genuinely nice people, friendly and completely trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

We are extremely pleased with our shower rebuild. When Sean previewed the job he was very informative. He offered suggestions and answered all of our questions. The Right-Choice crew were fantastic they worked quickly and efficiently. At the end of each day the house was left clean and all equipment was stored neatly. We feel that our home was respected by everyone who worked on this job.

Sean, Brad and crew just completed an amazing basement renovation project for us, and we are beyond thrilled.

Our house is almost 100 years old, which presents extra attention and being creative. Sean and Brad were great at explaining the different options when hiccups arose and would work with us within our budget. They always kept us updated along the way and worked with knowledgeable contractors when necessary (plumber, tiler, flooring installation, etc.) We never worried about inspections whenever they came up because we trusted that they were following the code. All inspections passed with flying colors. Their team is friendly and courteous, and we trusted them to lock up if we ever had to leave.

Ultimately, we had Right Choice do the following:
Demo all walls and ceiling paneling to install drywall
Re-work the HVAC to create higher ceilings
Build out a bedroom with custom closets and an ensuite custom bathroom and shower
Install new flooring
Complete all trim work and painting

We move to Bowmanville and looked for a local contractor to renovate an unfinished basement; after searching Google, came across Right Choice Renos (RCR).
Contacted RCR online and within a day got a response from Sean scheduling a visit. Sean was very pleasant, and with brief discussions he understood our needs. He took measurements, within a couple hours, Sean provided a designed that surpassed our requirements. We agreed on a start date, after discussing a payment schedule and all requirements. Note, RCR handled all permits required for the renovation.
Materials delivered, and the RCR team started on the scheduled date. Sean, Brad (owners) and team worked fast and important to us with cleanliness.
We had open communications throughout the build. The basement completed with a professional look and feel. Their details to attention was obvious and made the workmanship even better.

Working with this team was a pleasure and we will definitely be hiring them in the future! We purchased a home that needed flooring upgrades due to poor maintenance from the previous owners and were looking for suggestions on the Kitchen as we wanted to change the floor (tile that continued under cabinets) and wanted an upgrade to the countertops. The kitchen was builder basic with no back splash so we were open to the idea of a full remodel. Sean came to the house within 48 hours of us reaching out and was able to give us multiple suggestions. We ended up moving forward with carpet upgrade through the entire upstairs and staircase. As well as vinyl flooring all through the main floor and full kitchen renovation.
Sean moved very fast in getting us setup with picking out materials and getting the guys into our house to start the work. Each member of the team that we had in our home was a delight and very professional. To say we are happy with the final product would be an understatement. Our quote was almost exactly what we ended up paying, any changes Sean made sure to talk through with us and never came to us with huge hikes. The only added cost we encountered was due to mold behind our kitchen sink that was found during the demo, which was already discussed with us as a possibility during the quote process.
