Needed advice on the best way to secure the framing for a low level deck, ie attach to the house or footings next to the house and if so how close. Our city building planning and development department was not helpful and told us we needed a structural engineer. ASR was extremely responsive and provided good advise. They convinced us that our fist option was not the optimum and explained what we needed to do to follow the second option. I take a lot of comfort in knowing the approach to our project is sound structurally thanks to ASR.
