Delta Paving Contractors

This company approached us (door knocking) for our driveway paving. They said don't pay until work is finished. They said the work will take 2-3 days. Yet they came the next day and simply started recapping the old driveway without removing old cracked driveway. they left old asphalt on the side corner that they will remove it once the asphalt has cooled down a bit. No prep work was done, about 14 people came dumped lots of hot asphalt and stamped it down home-style (no heavy equipment). The owner came and said give me the money. I refused to pay. he said the work will be done in one hours time so I should have the cash ready. I was surprised. the work was finished within a few hours in a very crude rough manner. they said a truck is coming to take garbage away; they took all the money. We never saw the truck and the garbage is still in our house (heavy dirt, roots of old tree that I made them remove prior to paving). I have basically a recapped driveway which cost me $7200. I could have got a new driveway all levelled beautifully in this money had I not got sucked in with these fraud masters.
