As first time home buyers in Toronto's expensive housing market, my husband and I were pressured to drop our home inspection condition on every offer we submitted. On our recent home purchase, the seller relented and accepted our home inspection condition late that night as long as it could be arranged for the following morning. We scrambled to find a home inspection service at 10:30pm, which was stressful to say the least!
After searching online we came across TRU Inspections with it's outstanding reviews. Anton was kind enough to answer his phone that night and stay up until our offer was finalized at 11pm. We booked him for 9am the next morning. He arrived on time and explained how the home inspection would work. He explained his entire process and gave us advice throughout the home inspection. He also gave us a plan on how to approach any maintenance work required in the future. His final report was detailed, thorough, and timely. Our seasoned real estate agent was also impressed with his work.
Anton eased our nerves and gave us an in depth look at our new home. He was also kind enough to offer to answer any questions we may have in the future. We are happy to report we are proud home owners and confident in our home purchase thanks to Anton!

It was amazing experience , even though it was a heavy rain that day he still went to the rooftop to check every single detail and checked every inch of the building and found some hidden holes and point out to every single problem of our building, and also provided such a detailed report for everything . We were on a very restricted timeline to get our new house inspected. Though we didn't just want to book any home inspector. Reading reviews on various areas (HomeStars/Google Reviews & other sites), TRU Inspections was always with the highest grade of reviews. When we called to book them, they were polite and professional from the first call and throughout the entire experience. Anton was early for the inspection, used some high quality equipment, explained everything to me and my wife in full detail, took his time, checked areas that we didn't knew we should be checking. He provided a thorough detailed report which blew our mind. While I don't expect to need to do another home inspection for a while, if anyone ever asks me (friend or family), I will tell them TRU Inspections is the only inspector I would trust.

Anton conducted our home inspection prior to closing. He works to a high standard level, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and greatly surpassed our expectations. I am absolutely happy with the fact that I used TRU Inspections for my move-in inspection. Anton was professional throughout the entire process. There was a lot of back and forth to book a time for the home inspection and Anton never lost his patience. We only had an hour for the inspection, but Anton made the most of it. The home inspection was a very seamless process; quick and easy to book with Anton, did a 2 hour the walk through of the house (indoor + outdoor), and received a detailed report with images. He took time to explain each item that had an issue or potential issue to ensure that we understood it. His knowledge was extremely extensive and he would offer suggestions on how we could deal with the issues. He also lent us his laser measuring device while he did the inspection to take efficient measurements of the rooms. Anton was so efficient and got us the report later in the day.
