Clonard Electrical LTD. was founded in 2019 by Mark Hagan, a licenced Master Electrician, to meet the demand of the electrical contracting industry in the GTA.

Mark, originally from Dublin, Ireland, has over 10 years international experience, working in both Ireland and Ontario.

Mark as a qualified electrician, has over 5 years experience of setting up and running a business in the extremely competitive electrical contracting industry in Ireland, and 6 years experience as a qualified Red Seal Journeyman Electrician in Ontario.

Mark is described as ‘people oriented’ person who achieves objectives while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

Mark began his Ontario electrical career working at Borden Military Base near Barrie, on a number of new construction projects overseeing the installation of Lutron's state of the art Quantum lighting and energy management system.

Since then, Mark has worked on a number of large commercial projects all across Ontario such as, the construction of Erinokids hospital in Brampton, Index condos downtown Toronto and Costco in Kanata outside Ottawa.

Mark also worked as an electrical foreman for a market leading fire alarm company, and oversaw both electrical and fire alarm installation projects, such as the new Enercare head office in Markham, an entire new fire alarm system in Eglinton Sq mall in Scarborough, and the complete electrical renovation of Sony Entertainment offices in Mississauga.

Replace old chandelier and Install track lighting with hanging pendants.

Mark did an excellent job removing the old chandelier and installing track with lights and pendants in a very quick and super efficient manner. He also discovered some electrical abnormalities and rectified such for us. He did an excellent job.

Home Renovation

General Contractors review in Toronto

During the course of our home renovation the hood over the stove developed an electrical fault. So I contacted Homestars which lead me to Clonard Electrical. The Engineer arrived on time, was courteous, and very professional. It turned out the fault was not easy to diagnose. But he patiently persisted until he tracked down the source of the electrical fault and fixed it. I was very happy with the service and would definitely call him again.

As carpenters and General Contractor, we only use Clonard Electrical on our projects.

Mark is not only knowledgeable with fair prices, but he is clean, trustworthy, and reliable. I have absolutely no concerns leaving Mark or any of Clonard Electrical’s staff in my client’s property as I know I am in good hands.
