Do Not Waste Your Money - Poor Service
Disappointing service! I will start with a positive remark: our cleaner was very nice. We were supposed to provide just a vacuum. However, she forgot to bring a broom, dust pan and mop. So, we provided that, along with garbage bags. I walked her through my house to show her what needed to be cleaned. My house was very tidy and cleaned within the week prior by my husband and me. I wanted the floors vacuumed/mopped, washrooms and kitchen sparkling clean, all rooms dusted, mirrors cleaned. A typical cleaning for what we have been used to by cleaning companies in the past. This was an expensive cleaning compared to any other company weve used. The cleaner was in our home for 5 hours. We hadnt left much for her to clean: only 5 hours worth of work. She said goodbye before she left. However, upon her departure, my husband and I walked through the house to find:
- dust on furniture in the living room, bedrooms, and dining area
- toilets not cleaned
- kitchen sink not scrubbed/ shined up
- mirrors not cleaned in bedrooms and bathrooms
- bathroom sink not cleaned
- dust on hardwood steps
- kitchen countertop not cleaned
We provided feedback right away. It was a Friday, so we couldnt speak to a manager until the following Monday. When I spoke to the manager and another employee on the Monday, I got the run around..making it seem like our expectations were too high. He said he had never had any complaints about this cleaning person before. We had the feeling like it was one of her first experiences cleaning a house. They offered free cleaning within the week but it wasnt convenient for us. I told them Id like to discuss it with my husband. After trying to reach the company to set up a telephone call with my husband, the telephone tag was too muchSqueaky Cleaning did not return our calls. We felt like we wasted $280+ on a shoddy cleaning job. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND! very disappointing service, overall.
