The front steps which lead up to my house where cracked. I called Captain Handy and Alex come to my house the next day. We had a very proactive and efficient discussion and found a solution. I can't say enough good things about Alex and Muki. They came to our rescue after I had to fire the contractor I initially hired for our bathroom (an all around horrible experience).
A good chunk of work had already been done, but it had been done poorly with sloppy shortcuts taken everywhere. No matter for Captain Handy, though. They worked tirelessly from morning to night, including the weekend, to fix the previous contractor's mess and give me my bathroom back in a timely fashion. The bathroom now looks absolutely amazing, and their workmanship and professionalism instantly eased the anxiety and frustration I had been feeling up until that point. My only regret is not hiring them from the start, but these guys are now my go-to people for future work. Now do yourself a favour and stop spending any more time reading reviews and just call them up - you won't regret it at all.

I needed to renew my broken deck urgently just before all the mess started. I asked Alex and Muky to do it as soon as possible and they made me a new deck in 3 days. They ordered and delivered the Siena wood for it the next day and the team come and started the same day. These guys are super fast and quality is worth the price, it was a good deal for me.

Our shower tiles were damaged. We made a research on google and invited a few companies to come and provide us with the quotes. Finally we choosed Captain Handy. After job finish our shower looks great. Good contractor.

I posted on Homestars and Alex responded quickly with a quote. He was easy to deal with and his colleague, Mookie, did high quality work removing an existing backsplash (which required installing new drywall) and installing the new one. He also carefully removed and re-installed a range hood fan. They also did a great job cleaning up after the job.
