Overcharged, refused to honor quote
Jason would not stand behind his written quote and many email confirmations - blamed a "misunderstanding" with one of his subs. Tried to charge us an extra $4,000 because of it, and when we told him it was not our fault and we should not have to pay for his mistake, he walked away and left the project half finished (which he did by voice-mail, and we still have it, and he admits in there that it was his fault for the misquote!). We had to hire and pay for others (tiler, electrician, plumber), to complete the job. In the end, it still cost less than paying him the extra $4,000!!
