The "problem" was merely an error. the error is that it is customary for hot (H) to be on the left and cold (C) on the right Single faucets are turned to the right to receive cold water, to the left hot water. The problem is that X&H Construction tried several times to convince me the opposite. I don't think I'm that naive and for a cost of over $6,000 I was being played. There is more but will not fit in this space. Their belated offer to send a worker was rejected as I no longer want them in my house, trust has gone and unaddressed. On a good note the shower is beautiful and I would hire the original worker, just not through X & H.
