Run, don't walk, away from this company
Run, don't walk, away from this company. In August 2022 we had our driveway sealed by Maximum Asphalt Care. Initially, it appeared to look good. Unfortunately, today it looks worse than it did before the sealing. We were given no care instructions after the job was complete. Our money was taken and that was it. We have a very long driveway and as such, we have it plowed during the winter months. Imagine our surprise when the snow melted and we discovered that much of the sealant had been scraped off. I immediately contacted Max and after sending pictures, he asked if we have a snow plowing service. I said we did and he said it is likely that the plowing company didn't use a rubber blade and that it was their metal blade that caused the damage. When I pointed out that he neglected to mention this important fact after completing the job, he replied that he would start mentioning it to customers going forward. Had I known that this would have been an issue, I would have researched plow companies that use rubber blades. Max's only suggestion to me was to re-seal it and he would give me a meagre 10% discount. In addition to the plow issues, any of the cracks that Max supposedly sealed now have weeds and ant hills coming out of them. Not sure how well they were sealed in the first place. It is unfortunate that this company didn't think it prudent to provide some basic care guidelines to me and, I presume, any of their customers prior to me. I can't imagine that I am the first person to have had this issue! I definitely would not recommend Maximum Driveway Care to anyone.

Hello Kathy,
I regret to hear that we were unable to reach a satisfactory resolution. When I conducted an inspection of your driveway, it was disheartening to see the extensive damage caused by your plow company. Not only did they recklessly scrape off the sealant, but they also chipped the aggregate in the asphalt. While it is not uncommon for a plow to use a metal blade, it should not result in such severe damage to the seal. It is evident that this particular company lacked the necessary caution and professionalism in handling your driveway.
I understand that you have a close relationship with the company responsible for the plowing, which may make it uncomfortable for you to request them to cover the cost of repairs. However, it is important to acknowledge that we have never encountered a situation where a plow has caused this level of damage to a driveway before. During our in-person conversation, I believed we had reached a mutual understanding. You expressed your belief that the plow company was responsible for the damage, as evidenced by the fact that another driveway we sealed just one minute away did not sustain any damage from a different plow company. Thus, I find it rather surprising to see this negative review.
Furthermore, despite not being at fault in this situation, we have extended considerable assistance and support to you. We reached out to you multiple times, requesting updates on the situation, although most of our attempts went unanswered. Nevertheless, we remained committed to helping you in any way we could. If you are open to resolving this matter, I kindly request that you email or text me. We are still willing to engage in a conversation with your plow company, present them with the evidence of the damage, and strive towards a mutually beneficial agreement.
We value our customers and take pride in our commitment to providing exceptional service. It is our sincere hope that we can find a resolution that meets your satisfaction.
Best regards.
