Javier handled the renovation of our kitchen and a bathroom in our Hamilton home. He did an excellent job. He presented us with a range of options and this helped us to get the work done at a reasonable price. All of the work was done on time (actually a bit earlier) and well within budget. His work was based on a design provided by a designer that he recommended.

In parallel to Javier's work, we had other work done by another contractor (roof, siding, eavestroughs, fascia, and soffits) and both teams worked well together. Javier was able to accommodate easily those items that overlapped - for example, he prepared the frame for a window that the other contractor installed, a window that was part of the kitchen design that allowed for more counter space. The other contractor spoke highly of Javier's work.

Javier communicated well. We moved out for a month but he kept us informed. Basically, it was a turnkey operation as far as we were concerned. We left and came back to a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom.

Last year my brother-in-law purchased a 400 square foot commercial condo unit adjacent to his existing hair salon in order to expand his business. The scope of the work consisted of installing water pipes, a drain, two backwash units (sinks) and a electric water hearer, installing electrical convenience outlets and upgrading the electrical service from 30 amps to 100. Porcelain floor tiles were laid and carpentry work consisted of installing dry wall, an interior door and ceiling tiles for an esthetics room partition within the salon. Given Covid restrictions and lockdowns and condo rules and management required consents relating to unit construction, the completion of the work was very challenging, resulting in many unforeseen delays.. However Javier was very patient and understanding and respectful of these. We found Javier to be professional, knowledgeable and resourceful as when problems arose he was quickly able to find workarounds and solutions. Javier was reliable, dependable and throughout the process, maintained regular contact and promptly returned calls and texts. The skilled tradesmen (plumber and electricians) Javier arranged were incredibly skilled and helpful. My brother-in-law is immensely pleased with the finished unit. We would have no hesitation in using Javier and Elite Home Renovations in any future projects.

From the onset, my experience with Javier was extremely different than other contract companies. For instance, I had one contractor tell me how much I should spend on my project and that I should probably discuss it with my husband when I wouldn't budge. Interestingly enough, I'm an accountant that specializes in finance / investment management. So, I understand how investments work extremely well, including within the real estate industry! Another contractor knocked down my ideas without understanding my vision. Javier, on the other hand, listened patiently to what I wanted, understood my vision and carried it out.

Living in a condo introduced complexities, especially given the ever-changing lockdown requirements, but Javier worked with me to accommodate property management's requests (some of which were tedious) and reduce the disruption to neighbours.

Above and beyond can't begin to capture his work ethic. As an example, I had asked if he would be able to remove some pretty sturdy anchors left behind from the previous owners. Not only did he remove them, he filled the holes, primed the wall and got matching paint for us!

Javier being detail-oriented, an effective communicator and super flexible made the project a breeze. As you can see, the result is amazing! I couldn't have asked for higher quality work.

Elite was recommended by our neighbour. We found them knowledgeable, helpful in design and products, punctual and friendly. They adhered to Covid protocol, very clean and tidy and did excellent work. Let me start off by saying we were not easy clients. We were disorganized and had vague ideas about what we wanted for our 2 bathroom renos. Javier was endlessly patient and kind and was always ready with advice and suggestions that were tasteful, thoughtful and creative. He was the only one we contacted that provided sketches of different design options as well as detailed estimates. Once the work started, Javier and his team continued to impress us with their work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness, and best of all cleanliness. They were impeccable in making sure they were not creating or leaving unnecessary messes. Their workmanship is impressive and the results are better than what we had imagined. Their quotes were reasonable and Javier made sure to explicitly mention anytime one of our requests was going to cost extra so that the entire time we had a clear insight into how much the project was going to cost. They were truly a dream team and I could not recommend them more. In fact, we’ve already recommended them to several neighbours and family members. We recently renovated two bathrooms and our main floor, including the kitchen. From the beginning, Javier was professional and detailed in all of his communication. The timeline was incredibly important to us and he prepared sufficiently to maximize every minute we had to be out of our home. We received a materials list in advance, all questions were answered and they started right on time. The quality of the work was fantastic and Javier and his crew were friendly and professional throughout. They were extremely detail oriented and contacted us about any minor issues. We hired Elite Home Renovations to renovate our three bathrooms and we would not hesitate to recommend Javier. From the start to the end, the experience was amazing. His quote was very detailed and accurate and there were no cost overruns or unexpected surprises.
