We had a humidifier in our home that wasn't doing the job, so we bought an Aprilaire replacement online. We called the HVAC guy we'd used in the past but he said he didn't like installing that type, and refused to come. I searched Homestars, put out requests to 4 companies. Two said they install only their own units. The third said they could do it two weeks later.
Otto from The Hot and Cool Guys was my fourth call. He asked for photos of the new unit, and said he'd come by that very evening. He come by exactly when he said he would, he was personable and respectful, and offered a second opinion about our old unit. Our replacement kit was missing parts, so he said he'd collect the components and return two days later to install. Two days later, he came back and completed the install efficiently. He showed me how he'd patched up the holes from the previous unit, told me why he'd selected a different position for the new one, showed me the new setup and how to work it, explained maintenance, and even pointed out problem areas that I should monitor on my furnace.
I am very happy with the service we got from The Hot and Cool Guys, and we'll definitely call Otto again when we have any heating or cooling issues.
