Bathroom renovation with poor shower pipe installation led to water damage

I hired this team when they went by their old name Tilex Pro in 2019. They have since changed their name. This was a full bathroom Reno with new vanity, bath, and faucets, however reusing all the existing piping. At the time of completion I was somewhat satisfied although there were a few small details that I felt could have been done better. Little did I know that the team had poorly installed the shower faucet and behind the cover it would leak every time we had a shower. In 2023 we discovered water damage in behind the walls adjoining the shower area. Based on the fitting we had replaced it is clear it had been screwed on too few turns (1.5x-2x turns) which is what caused the leak. We are now paying for plumbing, mold remediation and drywall repair to fix what seems like a mistake that should never have happened. While the bathroom looks nice, it is crucial that the plumbing and installation of the water fittings are done properly and well. No one wants to suffer water damage in the years after a bathroom Reno. For this reason I cannot recommend this company and I would not use them again.
